Hendersonville
Western North Carolina calls to people. Carolina Village is no different. We’re located right in the heart of one of America’s most beautiful and vibrant destinations, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Hendersonville, named after the Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court, Judge Leonard Henderson, boasts a charming downtown of quaint shops, cozy cafés, and educational museums. Catch a live theater performance at nearby Hendersonville Little Theater or Flat Rock Playhouse. Or, when the mood strikes, enjoy a night of music at the Hendersonville Symphony.
Ready for some hiking? Head to the DuPont State Recreational Forest. Love a classic Christmas? Make time to attend the Old-Fashioned Hendersonville Christmas each December.
Each fall, Hendersonville’s downtown transforms into the famous North Carolina Apple Festival. Enjoy the area’s bounty by visiting the many local wineries, apple orchards, and farmers’ markets that serve our area. (Roll your windows down during a nice Sunday drive and you’ll smell the apples before you see them)
Countless artistic and cultural opportunities are just a short drive away. Head north a few miles, to Asheville, NC, and enjoy the rich dining scene. Take a short drive south to enjoy the booming-but-quaint Greenville, SC. They’re both equally convenient to Carolina Village and offer a host of opportunities every day of the week. On the other hand, if it’s small-town quiet you crave, that’s not far, either. Tiny towns like Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are a mountain’s drive away.
No matter in which direction you head, you’re sure to find your next adventure close by.
Take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall for gorgeous colors. Venture to the North Carolina Arboretum in the spring for lovely walking trails lined by numerous native wildflowers. (Some of these, like the Pink Lady’s Slipper, can even be found on our lush campus.) Pack up your skis or ice skates and take a ride up to the High Country, where there’s snow on the slopes.
There’s a good reason we’re in the Land of Four Seasons. There is always so much to do in western North Carolina. (Not to mention all of our on-campus activities!)
Carolina Village has the best of both worlds. We have big city conveniences, like two airports close by and multiple highly ranked hospitals. But we also have the calm and quiet of country life. The beautiful mountains surround us, as do the old traditions. (For example, do you want to learn to quilt, tat, or make cider? You need only ask!)
When you call Carolina Village home, you have the best of both worlds. You also have the peace of mind knowing you’ll be well cared for… Always.
